Riding enthusiasts from all over the South of England are set to descend upon the exciting and much-loved Westcountry Equine Fair, taking place at Westpoint, Exeter on Saturday 7th & Sunday, 8th December 2019.

The Westcountry Equine Fair, a dedicated horse & rider event is set to wow the crowds with top class entertainment and a bargain filled indoor equestrian shopping village in both the main hall and annexe, offering 1000’s of products to see, touch and buy and plenty of advice and information.

Companies from across the UK, the old favourites and a selection of new companies, will have a wide range of products and gifts covering everything equestrian and the organisers Contour Exhibitions will even supply a shop and drop facility with donations to a worthy charity Brooke.

Fennington Fibres, a UK grower and supplier of chipped Miscanthus horse bedding (stand 84) is a long-standing exhibitor at the Westcountry Equine Fair and will this year be sponsoring breed village.

Treehouse Sporting Colours (stand 160) – will have a selection of new cross country colours available

Keyflow (UK) Ltd (stand 34) will have a competition on their stand to win free bags of feed– well worth a visit to the show to enter!

The Devon & Cornwall Police (stand 215) – meet the horse watch scheme co-ordinator and obtain information on equine crime safety including tack marking. They have also set up Operation Close Pass working with the British Horse Society to improve road safety

There are also a number of new companies with some amazing products including: Bethany Rae (stand 93) – unique cowhide leather handbags, belts and purses; Joanne Parry (stand 223) – Equine Sports massage and laser therapy and wellies.com (stand 29) – great prices on Le Chameau; Aigle; Hunter; Grubs; Muck and more

There are also plenty of show offers and chances to win some great prizes.

Of course the event will have more on offer than simply shopping. It will also feature an action-packed Indoor Arena hosting a full programme of exciting equine entertainment and offering the perfect opportunity for busy shoppers to take a break and enjoy the show. This line-up will include Show Jumper Andrew Williams (Saturday); dressage rider Louise Hutchinson (Sunday) Natural horsemanship with The Horse Place (Parelli) with Sue Edwards, Western Riding (Sunday). There will also be a whole host of supporting features including breed and heavy horse parades, Pony Club horse & hound challenge (sponsored by Stags) and the junior show jumping competition (sponsored by Redpost Equestrian). A breed and heavy horse village will also be available outside at the show.

 

The British Equestrian Trade Association hosts the Knowledge Zone, with a brilliant array of top experts in the fields of nutrition; dentistry, worming, free hat and body protector checks and many more. Have a ride on Robocob - The life-like simulator is perfect for both complete novices and lapsed riders as they sample walk, trot and canter. (Donations to Brooke)
