ICE RINK MANAGER – ICESCAPE ARE NOW RECRUITING FOR MANAGERS AT WESTPOINT ARENA 

Icescape are looking for the best team yet to be a part of this year’s event and are currently recruiting Ice Rink Managers to lead that team.

• Management/Supervisor experience. 1-year minimum. 
• Customer service experience. 2 years minimum. 
• Full training and support throughout. 
• A dedicated Medic is always present, so first aid certification is NOT required. 
• You DO NOT need to be able to ice skate.

Main Responsibilities 

• Rink Manager 
• Assisting the Icescape Operations Management team with any changes to the staff rota. 
• Leading the ice rink team to deliver great customer service. 
• Assisting technical team with ice maintenance. (Full training provided) 
• Reporting daily. 

Hours of work 

• December 2024 to January 2025 
• Shift pattern including evenings and weekends. 
• We try to be flexible with working hours where we can, depending on other applicants’ availability. Let’s have a chat if you have other commitments you want to work around. 
• Christmas Day is closed but will need to be available for the Christmas period before and afterwards. 

Remuneration 

A performance-related bonus, holiday pay paid per hour as we go with full support from the Icescape Operations Management team. 

Rink Manager - £16.00 ph plus holiday (£1.93) PLUS bonus scheme. 

We only employ via PAYE – which means we cover insurance and pay your tax and national insurance. Eligibility to work in the UK will need to be evidenced at the interview stage. 

Our focus is on reducing the risk for our guests while providing an ice-cool place for friends and families to enjoy a special Christmas outing. In addition to this, we create a welcoming environment for everyone in the team to be safe in their workplace. 

Job Types: Temporary contract, Full-time 

Salary: £16.00 per hour, plus holiday pay (£1.93) and bonus 

Schedule: 

• Every weekend 

• Monday to Friday
