Westpoint - Our Background

Westpoint is home to The Devon County Show, the flagship event in the county for local agriculture, horticulture, food and drink, rural crafts and forestry.

The site is run by The Devon County Agricultural Association (DCAA) which has played a leading role in the development of agriculture and the rural economy in Devon since its formation in 1872. The association is accountable to the membership through its council run by a small board of directors. It is a registered charity and owns, Westpoint Centre (Devon) Ltd, the commercial arm of the business, charged with generating income from the site during the rest of the year.
