Join our dynamic Works Team at Westpoint as a Property Maintenance Apprentice! We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to engage in all aspects of site maintenance, including repairs, carpentry, painting, and basic plumbing. As a major events venue, you’ll also support various events, ensuring a diverse and exciting role.

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in site maintenance who values a dynamic and varied work environment. A ‘can-do’ attitude is essential, as daily plans can change quickly based on the events we host and any issues that arise. Adaptability is key.

No two days are the same. One day, you might be cutting grass and trimming hedges; the next, you could be building wooden structures for an event. Our main event, the Devon County Show, requires a lot of preparation to ensure everything runs smoothly. Tasks could include setting up pig pens, installing fencing, and delivering furniture – the possibilities are endless.

We offer training opportunities and encourage you to obtain your Forklift and Scissor Lift certifications. We are also open to discussing any other training opportunities that interest you and would be beneficial to your role at Westpoint.
